Configuration & Imaging Centre

Configuration and imaging of enterprise product and client devices is a time consuming but necessary task to ensure the technology you require is successfully integrated into your wider environment. Drawing on the resources and engineering expertise available at our Configuration and Imaging Centre we can orchestrate as much or as little of this task as you see fit, enabling you to focus on more strategic components of technology roll out.

What is it?

The CCS Media Configuration and Imaging Centre is two purposebuilt facilities located in London and Chesterfield, which we wholly own and operate. The locations have been selected to deliver the best possible SLA’s across our UK wide customer base. Completely flexible, the Configuration and Imaging Centre delivers a range of highly bespoke services to suit every conceivable requirement and make certain that once it’s delivered, the technology you need is ready to do the job intended. Protected by state-of-the-art security, backed up by alternative power management and operated from unbranded premises the centre has the potential to be a 24×7 operation that scales quickly to meet even the toughest deadlines.

Configuring to corporate standards is required to make sure the right operating systems are installed, machine upgrades are implemented, applications loaded, security measures are deployed and testing has taken place. Even seemingly simple considerations like the space to work on machines and the removal of packaging can become a real headache.

The Solution

By using our Configuration and Imaging Centre all of your technology can be fully imaged and configured to your own standards before being shipped. In some cases we configure product from start to finish, sometimes we’re asked to complete specific tasks. Whatever your preference, regardless of volume we can help.

We image and configure upwards of 10,000 machines every month, from servers to end-point devices.

The services we deliver include:

Bespoke build – machines built to your individual requirements.

Inventory – stock holding of machines and hot spares for call-off as needed.

Image holding – storage of your gold image to be driven to machines as you need them.

Asset Tagging – tagging of devices before deployment to desk

Testing – by us or by you, we offer connectivity solutions allowing customers to remotely access their environment and the machines we’re working on.

Facilities – use our premises and do some or all of the work yourself.

Services are typically charged on a per device basis although depending on size and scope of project a host of flexible alternatives are possible to ensure commercial best value.
